Energy from the Prymids

A February 2003 trip to Cancun by meglamom

We love it here at the Beach Palace. Going to the pyramids always gives me more energy. So much to do and still have time to relax by the pool.

When in Cancuin we take the bus. It is the best way to get around. Going down town is very interesting, and most people are very helpful.

Quick Tips:

Hint: remember where your hotel is and let your bus driver know ahead of time or you will find going around again.

This is where we stay every time we go to Cancun .The people who go here are fun-loving, comfortable, and very friendly. The cooks are very creative, friendly, and cook very good food. Bartenders are fun, and we became frieds with most of the crew. Rooms are great--we like the ones facing the ocean side. Great view.

We always check out small places to eat and like Mexican food, and so far this is our pick. They serve very good food, and it can be busy during lunch and supper hours, so we go at the off time. I don't know the name of the pub but it is in the central part of Market Place 8--ask the bus driver, he can help. This is outside dining, so no need to dress up. There's lots of shopping in the market that is cheaper then on the strip.

This was great for those who can't swim good. It's like riding a scooter under water. Divers are with you for safety, pictures, and filming, which you can buy buy. You go down 35 ft for half an hour over the reef. This was new last year.

Story/Tip

When in Mexico, the visitors go see the ancient ruins of the pyramids. They are all over, so finding one isn't hard. One close to Cancun is Chichen Itza. I have heard of getting energy from them, but didn't believe it. Well, I got so much energy that my husband told me to slow down. I felt wonderful. So now we visit once a year. What a wonderful way to relax and renew yourself.
