The Marco Polo Club at Maria Alm, Austria was a very special experience for us. We loved the area and the end of September is the Maria Alm Octoberfest when they bring the cows decorated with flowers for the parade, they set up food along the road and have a great German band in the center of town. Maria Alm has one street, one store and church and is a neat little place with beautiful mountains surrounding. Daily drives are wonderful, to Salzburg for the day, to nearby nice lakes (Zelum Zee was nice), or take a fall drive to the snow filled mountains and glacier, visit nearby ski towns or enjoy the beautiful countryside with cows with bells. while in Salzburg, be sure to consider the Sound Of Musi...Read More
