Best Things Nearby:
A short drive from the area brings you to numerous upscale shops and restaurants. Not much to see in walking distance. The Frank Lloyd Wright school of Architecture is very interesting we loved it. The Verdi Canyon railroad trip is also very good. By the way, you can buy a great box lunch at the train depot to take on the train.
Best Things About the Resort:
The heated swimming pool is laid out great, plenty of lounges, towels are supplied at the office next to the pool. The bar at the pool that has a daily drink special, you can also order lunch from the bar or eat in a small informal snack bar. They have waiter service that will take orders from you at the pool.
Resort Experience:
The unit we stayed in is listed as a studio; however, it has a separate bedroom on the second floor loft. The unit is large and laid out well. The first floor has a combination bedroom, living area, dining, and full kitchen with full-size appliances and washer/dryer. The bedroom has a retractable divider that is well made and gives you privacy. The second floor loft does not have a TV, but it does have a phone. The second floor loft has a door to a nice balcony with a few chairs. The living room has a fireplace. The decor is wonderful all Southwestern-style. The grounds are well maintained.
