An October 2002 trip
to Cabo San Lucas by cozbro
Quote: This is our eighth year in a row coming to Cabo San Lucas! It's one of three timeshares we own right now, and the only one we refuse to trade for anywhere else!
Spend time with Javier, owner of the tiny Torta shop, Gordalele's. He speaks little English, but knows every Beatles song by heart...and what a voice! Bring eight 'C' batteries, and he'll be sure to sing along with his boom box, a small price to pay for the entertainment and commeraderie! His tortas are quite incredible, too.
Eat seabass at Mi Casa, order the bacon-wrapped-cheese-filled shrimp at Mocambo, sit in Chuy's section at La Republica.
Take at least one trip on The Jungle Cruise and bypass The Office for a fantastic little meeting spot, called The SandBar. During the day, it's a casual, laid-back meeting place. At night, it transforms into a romantic wonderland.
The bicycle taxis are well worth it. Their drivers are some of the hardest working people in town and deserve a hearty tip, to make up for the minimal price they charge.
