Quote: I stayed at Channel Island Shores. What a great beach! You should visit Channel Island Harbor and Ventura Harbor. The people are very friendly and helpful. See Maritime Museum. I found two deep sea fishing landings, and one had docks that you could fish off of.
Hotel
The timeshare is located in a residential area. Outside of the beach, you would need to drive a short distance for all activities. A carport for one vehicle and an apron for your second vehicle was available. Street parking was allowed except on Wednsday during street sweeping (no meters). Mandalay Shores Timeshare Resort is right next door. I also found Harbortown Point Marina Resort in the Ventura Harbor, another timeshare resort.
