Driving your car onto this large ferry boat and stepping out to enjoy the breeze and watch for dolphins you wonder if you should share a tortilla chip or two with the seagulls. You catch a seagull's attention--you can tell he's looking at you by the way he keeps bending his neck to maintain eye contact. You throw one up. At first one or two dive, then dozens and dozens. It's a little scary; but, fun. You walk up the stairs that lead to the upper observation deck and scan the horizon. You see the Bolivar Lighthouse getting closer. You see tremendous ships in the Intercoastal Waterway. What a wonderful ride. You would take it even if you didn't want to go to Port Bolivar.
