My friends and I were hungry and needed some lunch FAST. So we're walking along the dock. Cassis is so wonderful. I just walked around with a smile on my face, enjoying the scenery. What could possibly go wrong?

One of my friends had heard of a restaurant (on IgoUgo) that he wanted to try. We found it, but it was 1:45pm and the employee informed us that the kitchen closed promptly at 2pm which, according to him, would not allow us to fully appreciate ... blah blah blah. Meanwhile we're still hungry.

We continue walking along the dock, looking at all of the tourist-type establishments for the cafe that "looked good". We found one: El Sol. It had a nice look and feel, clean tables, tasteful blue awnings.

My best friend and I ordered the French equivalent of the Captain's Platter. It was a huge fish and shellfish bouillabaisse platter. We dived into the platters to sample what was surely the freshest, tastiest seafood we'd ever eaten!

Now, try to picture both of us spitting the food out of our mouths. Horrible, bitter, and oh yeah, about 40 bucks a plate.

To sum up the rest of the table of friends and their dishes, out of seven people, two could TOLERATE their food. Of the two, one had ordered only macaroni and cheese (which we all thought was funny until we tasted OUR food), and the other person who liked their food was French. Draw your own conclusions.
