We went to Charlotte Harbor with the intention of investigating the area for a future winter home. We checked out Punta Gorda, Burnt Store, Sanibel Island, Venus, Charlotte Harbor, and Port Charlotte. I still haven't decided on which coast of Florida I want to live on.
