A July 2003 trip to St. Philip by ltschatz

Quote: This was a wonderful and relaxing week. We stayed at The Crane in the older section. While we gave up some of the luxuries, the enchantment of tradition and the breathtaking view from our room more than compensated! Resort staff went out of their way to help with everything!

Overview

Quote:
Sailing on a catamaran was great! The waters were clear and beautiful, and two stops for snorkeling were provided. I generally shy away from the "canned" activities, but this one was worthwhile.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

I have traveled all over the world and been exposed to many people and cultures, so I was perfectly comfortable on the public buses. My friends with limited travel experience found the transport crowded, noisy, and "scary". We hired a taxi a couple of times -- this was convenient, quiet, and moderately priced.
