Weekend in Frankenmuth

A November 2003 trip to Frankenmuth by rjdda91

Wonderful little town to visit. Charming, lots of shopping, and great chicken dinners.

The hotel is very large--five pools, indoor mini-golf, arcade, restaurants, bar, karaoke, whirlpools--and this is just in the winter. There are tennis courts also.

This is right in the heart of Frankenmuth surrounded by shops and restaurants. It's an excellent location and worth the money. It's a great family hotel, but there is an entire section devoted to adults only, which is also a plus. It has its own indoor pool and whirlpool and an indoor area to play cards and hang out without any children.

Restaurant

Zhender's is a great place for breakfast and lunch. The bakery has so many items to choose from. and they're all wonderful. For lunch, the walk-through cafeteria style offers large portions and a great variety for adults and children.

Attraction | "Bronner's"

Bronner's is the world's largest Christmas store, and it lives up to its name. There is not a Christmas item that you cannot find here. It's so large that you need a map to get around. It's open 361 days/year and it is a great place to find anything from a $5 ornament to decorations for skyscraper buildings!
