We took our young daughter to the Science and Industry museum, Navy Pier, and Water Tower Place. It was a wonderful trip for the entire family. Chicago, Illinois, is a great city to visit.

It is an amazing array of hands on activities for all ages and beautiful and interesting displays of all facets of Industry and what makes up each industry. It also has a great emphasis on science and due to its depth and scope could easily fulfill home-schooled and institutional learning facility needs for field trips. I would recommend that every person who travels to Chicago should take the time to appreciate one of this country's great museums. It won't disappoint you.

It is a mall with perks. It has boat excursions, a ferris wheel, great selection of shops and restaurants, great views, kid activity area, art displays, street performers, and is easily accessible by public transportation, either walking or car. It is a fun place designed to instill the "Spirit of Chicago" in all who partake.

It is architecturally beautiful. It has something for everyone. There are world renowned stores present in Water Tower Place. My favorite was the Chocolate Shop that offered a selection to make you drool. My wife and daughter were also ecstatic with their selection of chocolates. There is also a movie theater that runs first run movies located inside. It is a fun place to shop and window shop alike. The design of criss-crossing escalators, glass elevators, and glass walled balconies on multiple levels overlooking everything makes it an exiting place to be. It is a Chicago landmark and should be a must visit place on every visitors itinerary.
