I went there for a reunion. I am from Kuala Lumpur. Therefore the means to go there were either by flight or by car. I opted for the second one. It was over a four hour drive there.

The Beach
The view is magnificient, but you are not encouraged to swim because of the jellyfish and strong current.

Also if you plan to stay longer it is advisable to go fishing, watching turtle laying eggs, watching locals doing handicraft tingy. We also went to the night market.(bazaar malam).

Quick Tips:

Wear lots of suntan lotion. Avoid going there during monsoon season (October to February).

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking down the beaches during sunset, afternoon, or dawn. If you are tired of sea water (putrid smell) there's two pools at Holiday Villa that you could swim at all day long. Most didn't wear proper smimming attire though, which was not very hygenic.

Awesome and dirt cheap. The food is good, ranging from local to westerner. Try the seafood--yummy!

The room is modest and has three or four types. You can choose the room, apartment, small hut, or the chalet style accommodations.

The small hut is made by wood, therefore, be wary of any activities that might make noise more than three decibels--it's audible.
