An October 2002 trip to Ruidoso by hugh98

I love Ruidoso in the fall. The weather is great, and I love going to the festival, Oktoberfest. I usually stay at Apache Village Cabins--the place is clean, the prices are reasonable, and I enjoy sitting outside with a cocktail or a glass of wine and grilling out.

Overview

I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, going to the casinos, and dining. My favorite restaurant is Jezebel--you must experience it to believe it.

Apache Village Cabins

Hotel

The cabins are clean and quaint, not as expensive as a lot of others nearby. I only stay in cabins when I come to Ruidoso, and these are good for the money.
