THE WEATHER WAS PRETTY GOOD. ALL THE PEOPLE WERE EXTREMELY NICE TO ME, AND I'M FROM CALIFORNIA! THE COFFEE SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS ARE FANTASTIC AND FAIRLY INEXPENSIVE. YOU MIGHT EVEN MEET YOUR DREAMGIRL, I MET MINE. UNTIL THIS WEEKEND,I DIDN'T REALIZE SHE LIVED IN SEATTLE.

Quick Tips:

GO IN THE SUMMER, OR PACK WARM! GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO SHOP.

Best Way To Get Around:

HAVE A FRIEND DRIVE YOU AROUND. IT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE CITY.

Restaurant

I WENT THERE FOR LUNCH AND HAD A GREAT TIME. THE DECOR IS BRIGHT AND LIVELY, THE FOOD VERY GOOD. NOT TOO BAD FOR BEING IN A MALL. A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, MAYBE THAT'S WHY I HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME.

GREAT SPICY FOOD, BUT DON'T LET THE OWNER CATCH YOU GOING TO A RIVAL THAI RESTAURANT. HE WILL MAKE YOU FEEL SO GUILTY, YOU WILL NEVER GO TO DIFFERENT PLACE EVER AGAIN.

Nishino Ototo SushiBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Noshino"

This sushi bar is the best in Seattle. I go out to sushi twice a week in Los Angeles and I usually go to different places. Noshino is in my top 5 sushi bars I have ever been to. The sushi is fantastic and the other main dishes were just as good. The salmon, albacore, and yellowtail were especially good the evening I went.

Figaro BistroBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Figaro"

This bistro is a great addition to the area. The traditional French fare was delicious. The French staff was very attentive and friendly. The wine list was good, but a 10 dollar corkage fee isn't a bad alternative. I ate here twice and the specials always seemed interesting. I hope this place makes it. Also, this restaurant is on airline frequent flyer dining plans. 10 miles to every dollar.

Restaurant

This was a great tapas bar. The interior was an old porn house that they turned into a restaurant. Interesting! The best thing about it was the wine list. Many Spanish and Portuguese wines. I am Portuguese and I haven't seen this may Portuguese wines in quite awhile.

Attraction | "EMP"

THIS WAS A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. IT WOULD OF BEEN COOL IF I WAS 14 AND DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ROCK. I LEFT THERE WITHOUT LEARNING A THING. THE HENDRIX STUFF WAS NOTHING NEW, THE INTERACTIVE MUSIC CENTER WAS NIGHTMARISH, THE 'FUNK BLAST' WAS EMBARASSING AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF IT WAS 20 BUCKS TO GET IN. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ROCK, DO NOT GO HERE. THE GEHRY BUILDING WAS COOL.

Tini BigsBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

I went to Tini Bigs with my girlfriend and cousin. We were interested because we heard it was one of the more happening places around. We were extremely disappointed. I guess if you are a girl you might like it. The guy to girl ratio was 7-1. It was stuffy and smokey. The drinks were fairly steep. A decent singles bar, but overrated. There are better places in Queen Anne.

DRIVING AROUNDBest of IgoUgo

Story/Tip

I HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME IN SEATTLE AND THE MAIN REASON WAS THE PEOPLE. THE WEEKEND FLEW BY. IF YOU HAVE A FRIEND WHO CAN DRIVE YOU AROUND, SEE IF THEY WILL DO IT. YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE LANDSCAPES. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.

GreenlakeBest of IgoUgo

Story/Tip

Greenlake is a great area with a small manmade lake in the middle. It has a sidewalk that goes completely around the lake. The walk is a little over 2 miles and it is where many locals go to exercise. On better weather days, the area turns into bit of a meet market. It is a great place to people watch. Also, a great place to walk your dog. The adjacent park is also very nice.
