Beach, Nascar Speedpark, and the seafood is great of course. You should go to Prestons buffet. Definitely go to one of the many miniature golf places at night, when they look even better.

Quick Tips:

Most of the action starts mid-afternoon to late night. I'd basically just stay out late and sleep in.

Best Way To Get Around:

Good thing to have a car. Traffic is pretty laid back but can sometimes take a bit. Easy to get around four-lane streets. Didn't remember seeing any public transportation but there are probably taxis' you can get.

The condo where we stayed.
We stayed in a condo on the resort, which is surrounded by golf courses. My parents got a good deal on it because we got it through an offer from Fairfield Resorts, a timeshare company.

It was a great setting, with the surrounding golf courses providing clean surroundings. A pool accompanied every housing section. We had two bedrooms (one master and one with two twin-sized beds), two full bathrooms, full kitchen, dining table, and pull-out couch/bed. It came with dishes, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, and washer and dryer. Even with all that, a maid came daily just to straighten up.

Very good pizza with a variety of toppings ranging from normal to strange. They also have other various pizza-like foods on menu. Quick delivery and has various restaurants around the Myrtle Beach area.

The Fudgery - Fudge and FunBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "The Fudgery- Fudge and Fun"

It's a nice little shop for some really good fudge if you're in the mood. They serve huge, delicious chunks of the stuff. It's located in the Barefoot Landing area where there are tons of different shops. They are really creative in the way that they sing songs while they serve. And they all sing together when they are actually preparing and cutting the fudge (the times they do this varies). They have tons of different flavors--my favorite was vanilla.

Restaurant | "Sugami Japanese Restaurant: Sushi & sashimi"

Sugami Japanese Restaurant
When you come in you have a choice of two eating options: the hibachi tables or regular seating. You can still order prepared meals from the hibachi table though. It took a bit for our chef to come out but when he did come out he was very nice and funny. He did a great presentation with fire, his utensils, and the actual food. We absolutely loved the show.

There was a huge variety of things you could have the chef cook or have prepared in the back. The food was good, a little too salty for my taste, but Japanese food usually is. My dad didn't really like what he ordered but said he enjoyed the show anyway. Overall, it was a great experience.

It's mainly a buffet-style atmosphere. There is great seafood, but they also had T-bone steaks, salad bar, vegetables, fruits and a dessert bar. For adults it's about $16 per person unless you also want unlimited crab legs, which is about $23-25 per person. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the crab, which looked good.

It's a very busy atmosphere; we waited about 10 minutes to get seated. Our waitress stopped by every so often to get us drinks since it's mainly a do-it-yourself atmosphere.

Definetly a fun place to take kids and get good food with a great selection.

Ripley's Museum- exhibit
Tons and tons of mini exhibits, with a lot of activities. It took us about an hour to get through the whole museum. Each exhibit has a little background history card telling what it's about. There are interactive activities along the way for kids and videos that replay over and over. There are exits along that way incase you'd like to leave early. And there is an arcade area at the very end of the museum. You can also buy a souvenir book when you purchase your tickets.

Sometimes it's hard to believe everything is real. Ranges from the odd and strange to the grotesque and foreign. Basically it’s a fun experience for anyone looking to experience some cool stuff.

Myrtle Beach Factory Outlet StoresBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Myrtle Beach Factory Stores"

This is a nicely laid out outlet with over 100 stores. It has benches and tables for resting and eating outside. It also has little food stops for a refreshing drink or snack. There is tons of parking and restrooms on both ends of the mall.

See www.shopmyrtlebeach.com for stores.

NASCAR SpeedParkBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

It's best to spend the whole day there if you plan to go ride the go-carts on the tracks. The lines are pretty long but the race is worth it. Another source of line delay is when they refill the carts with gas, which takes awhile. But once the racing starts i'ts fun to watch everybody try to manuever around each other, especially when the younger kids all of sudden crash into each other. The tracks increase in difficulty and speed as you go farther into the park. There are seven tracks total.

We didn't go play in the arcade but it did look fun. The climbing wall was also fun and had four different difficulties. They even let us try to go up several times since there wasn't a line. It was much cheaper than the climbing wall at six flags and only cost $5 dollars.

Alligator AdventureBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Aligator Adventure"

Aligator Adventure
The place had hundreds of alligators living all over the place. Other reptiles like snakes and frogs are inside the two huge reptile houses on-site. There are hundreds of different species. There is one alligator that weights about 600 pounds and is 14 feet long! There are refreshments also available on-site and restrooms too.

The alligator feeding was fun to watch, seeing all of the alligators fight and step over each other for some pieces of meat. The reptile demonstration consisted of a trainer talking about and showing some of the more common and dangerous snakes. It was also a bite interactive if you sat up close, so you could touch some. The trainer put one on a kid's head! Overall very good experience.

Hawaiian Rumble GolfBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Hawaiian Rumble Minature Golf"

This is one of the many (and I mean many!) miniature golf courses along route 17 in Myrtle Beach. Open most of the day until late night. We got there at 10pm and were done at about midnight.

This is a really fun course with fake waterfalls and a volcano that goes off every so often. It gets crowded sometimes so that you're waiting for the group ahead of you to finish. Nice thing late at night if you're bored. Lots of fun, and good service.
