An August 2003 trip to Puerto Vallarta by Standoman

Had a great time relaxing and doing nothing in the sun. Good half day snorkel trip through Chico's dive shop downtown for only $22 per person. Stayed at the Vilas Vallarta resort. Nice and relaxing, but no lounge in hotel for any nightlife.

The resort is clean and friendly, and has a great swim-up bar. We had a two-bedroom suite that was huge, with a large balcony overlooking the pool and ocean.

Resort Experience:
We spent most of our time laying by the pool or sitting at the pool bar. We came to relax and that is what we did.
