Nuremberg Accommodation

Nestled in the heart of old town Nuremberg, the Romantik Hotel am Josephsplatz has a history dating back to 1675. This is a beautifully decorated boutique hotel w/ 36 well-furnished rooms. While there wasn't air conditioning, we did have a small fan & two large windows. There was a tiny lift (ie; elevator) that would carry either two people or two pieces of luggage, but not both. Parking was in a garage on the same street. Breakfast was a lavish buffet in a pretty breakfast room w/ attentive staff. In fact, we really enjoyed the staff, especially one receptionist who had a great sense of humor & enjoyed chatting & joking around w/ us. Kaiserburg Castle & the Frauenkirche are w/in easy walking distance. The metro is also nearby, which can connect you to the train station for a day trip to Rothenberg.
