Sun and Fun in St. Pete Beach

Overview

Quote:
The Gulf of Mexico beaches in Florida are beautiful. The water is warm and the shells are plentiful.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Plaza Beach Hotel Beachfront Resort

We reserved a Superior Gulf View room. There were two double beds and a pullout couch in a room to sleep six. The bathroom was very clean for a hotel directly on the beach. We did have a small kitchen/dining area. There are also chairs provided outside each room for sitting outside and watching the ocean.

There are several on-site activities including a nice sized pool. We played shuffleboard and took advantage of the gas grill provided free of charge of a cookout at lunch. The hotel is located directly on a beautiful beach.

This was our favorite meal of our entire vacation. The food was delicious and there was a great variety. You sit overlooking the water and can watch the dolphin while you enjoy your food. The portions are big and are great for sharing with your table members. The kids menu offers both seafood and traditional kids meal options.

There are several beaches located on the island. We only got to explore the main beach due to inclimate weather. The water is very clear and the shells are beautiful.

Hubbard's Sea Adventures, Inc.

Attraction | "Hubbard's Marina Dolphin Cruise"

Quote:
The dolphin cruise is a 1 1/2 hour trip. This is a great way to get up close views of dolphins in their natural environment. You should call ahead for reservations as the cruises book up in advance. The staff at Hubbards is great and very customer oriented.
