San Juan for FunBest of IgoUgo

Overview

The beaches in San Juan are legendary, bring plenty of sunscreen, a good book and get ready to see the most beautiful women. At night, the clubs are wild, with the best music and nonstop partying 'till the sun comes up.

Quick Tips:

Stay in the Condado area, centrally located to reach either the old San Juan area or go back to Isla Verde, where the best beaches are. Also rent a car immediately, driving is easy and cheaper than taking taxis. The mass transport in San juan is poor and not dependable.

Best Way To Get Around:

Like I mentioned before, rent a car as soon as you land. Explore the city and try to go outside the city. Puerto Rico has such much to offer. Just ask around, the people are very friendly, but beware of where you go at night, some areas are very dangerous during late night hours.
Just renovated, it's a jewel. Private beach in the middle of the city. Plenty of stores inside the hotel to cater to your every need. The pool area is excellent and the food will satisfy even the most demanding connossieur. The rooms are elegantly furnished and many have views of the sea. Centrally located to the old city and it's pubs and night clubs.

Restaurant

If you want the best, this is the place to go. VERY EXPENSIVE but worth every penny. From the time you go in the door all the way to getting back in the car, you feel you have reached culinary heaven. Try the seafood and the wine list reads like the Forbes of wine. This is the best restaurant in all of PR.

Cuevas de CamuyBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Natural wonder at its best. One hour away from San Juan, but worth the trip. natural caverns made by a subterranean river. The trip should also include Camuy, a town in the north of PR and where the caves get their name. Very quaint and will get you a feel of what a town PR used to be.
