We took our two-year-old son with us so we stayed mainly at the resort and spent time on the beach and in the pool. There are shells everywhere in Marco on the beach so it is great to walk along the beachshore and collect shells and see all of the other resorts. They have wonderful seafood restuarants to choose from in Marco! One of our favorites was the Snook Inn, which was on the Harbour. Their motto is, "You catch it, we cook it!" I recommend the seafood buffett where they have everything to peel and eat shrimp, steamed crab claws, oysters, clams, etc. I would call ahead that day to find out what the buffet is and definetly recommend that you hit the seafood buffet. Best Things Nearby:The beach! Couldn't ask for a better view or location. Also nearby to many restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, etc. Great location for families.Best Things About the Resort:The location! We were right on the beach. Also, the view we had was wonderful. If you are lucky to have an ocean view, you have a great big balcony that opens up not only from your family room, but from the master bedroom as well.
