A November 2000 trip
to Puerto Vallarta by davilin88
Quote: After the beauty, but expense and Americanization of Cabo and the letdown of Mazatlan, my wife Linda and I decided it was time to try Puerto Vallarta, and it was love at first sight.
There are displays of equipment used in making tequila, and some craftsmen creating Huichol Indian beadwork and hand rolled cigars, plus a lunch at the all you can eat taco bar, but the tequila tasting is what we were really interested in, and it was quite an experience. The jungle trio tour was up next and included sliding down a jungle waterfall and a terrific seafood lunch. A tour on a 40' sailboat included lunch, drinks and snorkling. And P.V. is the shopping capital of Mexico.
