Wow, I don´t know where to start to be honest. World Disney World is great. You feel like in a different world, like in a fairy tale. The main theme parks are The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Centre, MGM Studios, and The Animal Kingdom. My favourite part was the Epcot Centre. This park is divided into two different sectors: the Future World and World Showcase. In the first one you can learn about the world of tomorrow (energy, life style, computer, communication, in the second you'll find little 'villages' that represent a particular country (i.e. Canada, France, Japan, Italy, Germany, China etc). There you also have the possibility to take a rest in a restaurants and enjoy the 'local' food an...Read More

We stayed in the "All Star Sports Resort". I never saw something like that before, it was amazing. The resort is themed to five popular professional sports: baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and surfing. Already when we arrived we could see why it was called "Sports Resort"--the reception was more like a Stadium Hall then a normal hotel entrance and we felt like we were entering a basketball gymnasium. We had a nice comfortable room for four people. It had everything you need like TV, telephone, radio, air conditioner, hairdryer, iron and iron board, etc. After we unpacked our stuff we made a tour through the resort. All over the resort we found bright, bold, and colourful pop ...Read More

Epcot World Showcase

Attraction | "Epcot - World Showcase"

Quote:
Where else can you visit 11 nations on one vacation while staying in the same hotel every night? The World Showcase is a wonderful place in Walt Disney World. Each pavilion is amazingly realistic. Across World Showcase Lagoon, 11 nations stand side-by-side in perfect peace and harmony. The staff who is working there are citizens of the countries they represent, so they have a really good knowledge about everything. When you have spent some time in World Showcase, you truly feel like a world traveller. Another good thing is, that there are lots of activities for children. Here, the kids can meet characters in their country of origin and there are a couple of rides and number of outstanding films. World...Read More

Walt Disney World Resort Epcot Theme Park

Attraction | "Epcot - Future World"

Quote:
The word EPCOT was a short form coined by Walt Disney himself which means Eperimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. The Future World is the first part of Epcot. Here we could experience the past and future of technology advancements. Surrounding Spaceship Earth (what I mentioned above) are eight other pavilions: The Living Seas, The Land, Journey Into Imagination, Innoventions, Test Track, Horizons, Wonders of Life, and Universe of Energy. You can travel through them. They are all presented in a way only Disney can, through attractions, films and through interactive presentations. Many of the attractions took us on trips through history into the future, history being the foundation of so many less...Read More

Walt Disney World Resort Epcot Theme Park

Orlando, Florida

General Tips

Story/Tip

Quote:
As you probably know, Walt Disney World is a huge resort with a multitude of things to do. To avoid a hectic and possibly disappointing vacation, some amount of planning is required. -For example, find out when parades are taking place at the park you are visiting. If you have already seen the parade or are not interested in seeing it, this is a good time to see one of the more popular attractions, as lines are generally shorter. -From August to October is the hurricane season in Florida. During these months the parks are less crowded. I went to Florida in August and although it may rain nearly every day during this season, the showers are often short and very light. Having a pla...Read More
