One of the highlights of Moncton is definitely Magic Mountain, which is a great place if you love to go swimming -- there are also pools and water slides, etc. Located right next to Magic Mountain is the Magnetic Hill Zoo and Magnetic Hill, which is all very fun. Moncton has the great shopping experience of Champlain Place Mall. Right in the parking lot of Champlain Place is Crystal Palace, with some great indoor and outdoor rides, some fun games, a movie theatre etc.

Quick Tips:

We go to Moncton quite a bit. When we go, we usually go to Champlain Place, which is actually in Dieppe to go do some great shopping. Champlain Place has some great prices at all of their stores -- you can always find some great sales. We really enjoy the Disney Store -- it can be expensive, but they do usually have some sales going on. Also located right in the Champlain Place parking lot is the Crystal Palace amusement park, which has free admission and some great rides inside and outside. There is also an arcade and movie theatre right inside Crystal Palace, as well as a Chapters bookstore. This is a very fun place to go with your entire family.

Best Way To Get Around:

Whenever we go to Moncton we also take a car up because it is the easiest way to get to where you're going, but some of the roads in the area can be a little confusing make sure you always follow the road signs because it doesn't take much to get lost. I wouldn't really get around from walking because everything is stretched out and it would be too difficult.

When we go to Moncton we usually eat at Vito's, which has great food. It is definitely one of our favorite restaurants. They serve Italian food such as spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, etc. I really recommend their spaghetti as it is absolutely delicious. They also have some great pizza--whenever we go we usually get our own meal and split a 6 inch pizza. The price is about average but it is definitely worth every penny.

Crystal Palace is a very fun place to go and just enjoy yourself. If you're an adult, it will bring out the kid in you. There are so many great rides that you can never get sick of. If you decide to take a break from rides, there are games where you can win some fun prizes like plush toys. There is also a great arcade for those who love video games. The Chapters book store is pretty amazing for those who enjoy reading because you don't even have to buy the books -- you can just sit there and read them it's almost like a library except with better books and a cafe located right there. The Ramada Hotel is located right there too, so if you're from out of town, you can just stay right there and everything you want is right at your fingertips -- a shopping centre, amusement park, movie theatre, some great restaurants within walking distance, reading, etc.
