The best thing we did on this trip was our visit to Yosemite. What a beautiful experience -- lots of waterfalls, giant sequoias, and plentiful wildlife.

Quick Tips:

You will definitely need a car here. We opted for a four-wheel drive in case of snow.

Best Way To Get Around:

The only way to get around here is with a car.

Best Things Nearby:
Lots of state parks. Plenty of places for hiking. Not a lot of restaurants or shopping areas nearby. This resort is definitely "off the beaten path." There are golf courses and skiing nearby.

Best Things About the Resort:
This was a beautiful timeshare that sleeps eight. It had a fireplace and wood was available for purchase at the front desk. We went in the off season so it was a very reaxing resort.

Resort Experience:
This was the largest room we've had. Since we went in the off-season we were able to exchange our one-bedroom for this room. We would definitely recommend this resort. The people were very nice.

It takes a couple hours to drive here from Arnold, but is well worth it. The waterfalls are beautiful and plentiful along the roadside. You can just pull off to see them, no hiking required. If you want to see the largest sequoias in the park, then be prepared for a very long hike, and make sure you give yourself plenty of time before dark. Everywhere you look there seems to be some type of wildlife.

This was definitely the highlight of the trip!
