Climbing up the Chichen Itza pyramid was challenging and exhilarating, but also scary. My 10-year-old daughter and 30-year-old niece made it all the way to the top, while I decided to return when I was halfway to the top.
The cruise to Isla Mujeres was so much fun and enjoyable. It was wild and crazy. We were dancing, singing, and gulping down strawberry daquiris that were being served by squirting it down our throats.
The shark experience was unforgettable. We actually held and carried a toothless shark that was so slimey and heavy. I bought several silver jewelries that were excellent bargains at one of their exclusive jewelers.
Quick Tips:
Always bargain and you will end up with great purchases, especially if you buy by bulk. All my give away souvenirs were merely from to each. Be careful of what you drink. Do not recommend drinking their tap water. Bottled water and canned sodas are safe bet.
Best Way To Get Around:
Public transportation is no problem. Easy to get around. Taxis are cheap to hire all day long. Walking at night around the hotel strip is not scary.
