This is a 12-mile motor assisted raft ride on the Colorado river in the Black Canyon. There are about 30 people on the raft and the very knowledgeable tour guide points out big horn sheep, different birds, caves, and he takes you to a hot water spring that is 140 degrees -- you can touch it too! The tour stops on a small beach for about half an hour to stretch your legs and eat lunch. You get a box lunch with a turkey sandwich, chips, an apple, cookies, and bottled water in a souvenir lunchpack. Be prepared to be in the sun for three hours and, if it's windy, be prepared to get splashed (they have ponchos for use free of charge on board).
