Visitors of all cultures will have no problem satisfying their desires here. Denver offers year round sporting events, night life and fun for all ages. If on a summer vac stop by Waterworld (recently made the top 10 waterparks list on the travel channel). Catch a concert at the Redrocks Ampitheater. Take a tour bus to the historical gambling town of Central City. Survive a night in LoDo's club scene. Visit denvercenter.org for a list of performing arts. Don't forget the Museum of Nature and Science complete with famous exhibits and coordinated IMAX shows

Quick Tips:

Since the Denver Nuggets still are not contenders, tickets to see your team beat them are comparatively cheap. Avalanche games can be pricy, but tickets are available. Rockpile tickets at a Rockies baseball game can provide cheap entertainment for a bugeted traveler. Good luck with Broncos tickets. Check out digitalcity.com/denver for a full linup of events, concerts, restaurants, and directions.

Best Way To Get Around:

Driving is the best unless in downtown where walking or the free trolly provide adequete means.

The Inverness Hotel is one of my top two choices in the Denver area (the other being the Omni Interlocken). Customer service at the Inverness is top notch. The rooms were spacious and unique. The private golf course is spectacular. If coming back, ask about "club" offers and memberships.

Omni
This place is serenity. From intimate dining to peaceful suroundings, the Omni Interlocken is a great escape for someone who doesn't want to deal with the "city" life that goes hand in hand with downtown Denver. The links-style golf course is challenging and well-groomed, but I wouldn't recomend trying to walk it as the elevation changes greatly from hole to hole. They also have a shuttle that will run you over to the Flatiron's Crossing shopping area for free.
