A July 2003 trip to Maui by sschall
Quote: Nine sundrenched days on Maui spent surfing, kayaking, dolphin search, snorkeling, shopping, and eating. Perfect.

We've stayed at RCI Gold Crowns on the Big Island, Kaui, Hilton Head, Carlsbad, and in Cabo. They've all be really nice and comparable to staying in a nice hotel. This unfortunately was not even close. The rooms were roomy though and did allow for the family to spread out. It had 3 TVs, a washer and dryer, etc. It wasn't horrible, but not as nice as we'd prefer. Tiny kitchen. The unit had two lanais (one that looked over the parking lot, the other looked into someone's backyard). We were also disappointed that there were no kids activities at all. I wouldn't return to this timeshare, it's certainly not Gold Crown level at all.
