Overview

Fabulous outlets to shop in nearby North Conway. Attitash ski area turns into a summer fun spot -- one price includes waterslides and alpine slides (like skate boards you sit on with a hand brake). Flume Gorge is nearby and is a great hike with waterfalls and nice trails.

Quick Tips:

Try the Wooden Soldier Catalog outlet for clothes you would never buy at regular prices -- great quality 50-75% off! My 8-year-old son loves Donderos Rock Shop -- the owner is a third generation gemologist and a wealth of knowledge for the interested.

Best Way To Get Around:

You really need a car here -- no public transport at all.

Best Things Nearby:National parks galore, family parks.Best Things About the Resort:Daily room service at no charge!!! Fitness room, steam room, sauna, pool, and hot tubs were immaculate.Resort Experience:It was a very nice hotel -- the one-bedroom unit was two rooms with attached doors that we left open. I cannot recommend the restaurant, however -- it was a great menu, but better on paper than on plate. ...Read More
