A January 2000 trip to Clare by kruger76

This weekend away was for a wedding. We were situated on a farm, with living quarters, sheep, a woolshed, church, swimming pool (of which we broke the diving board), and lots lots more. We were just outside Clare, which is full of wineries and many other sights.

Overview

The golf course is sensational, the wineries are very beautiful with only short distances to go, the eating is lovely with many nice restuarants.

Quick Tips:

Look around for B&Bs -- there are lots of them. A bargain is not hard to fine, as the internet is full of places just outside Clare to visit.

Best Way To Get Around:

You need your own car -- or hire a bus especially for all the wineries. There are many places where you can just pull over and have a nice picnic.
