Best Things Nearby:
Everything! The theme parks, International Drive, Florida Mall . . . all within easy driving distance.

Best Things About the Resort:
It was gergeous! Very clean. The rooms were huge, very spacious. Everything was laid out well. Our two daughters had their own little "studio" room attached to the living room doorway. They loved that!

Resort Experience:
I felt right at home when we arrived. The people working there were very hospitable and welcoming. Our room was very clean and everything worked well. The outside pools were also clean and roomy enough to accommodate everyone. We didn't feel cramped at all. There were enough activities to keep everyone busy. Our favorite was the "dive-in" movie where they set up a large screen one night and showed a movie poolside! It was rated for all family members. They also had their own movie theater where they showed a movie every night (free). My kids were depressed that we had to leave and go home! We all felt very comfortable there and can't wait to go back!!

Central Florida Zoological ParkBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Central Florida Zoo"

This is a small zoo. Very tropical with a lot of trees, plants. The day we went it was very hot and little bugs were flying around. The reason we went was to see the two cheetahs. My daughter was satisfied with that (she is 9). Our teenage daughter was somewhat bored. The snack stand was crowded and a long wait.

I think this zoo would be okay on a "cooler" day. We went on a Thursday morning so we got in for half price. It's a good zoo if you are looking to spend a short time, little money, and your kids like animals.

They have a small gift shop also.

Attraction

My husband, two daughters (16, 9) drove from Orlando to Cocoa. My older daughter rented a surfboard from Quiet Flight (on A1A) $20 for the day. We thought that was a great price. We went to a good beach on 13th Ave (or street). Free parking, good waves for beginners.

Went to Ron Jon's surf shop (free parking).

On the way home, we stopped at the Sunset Grille and were able to see manatees and dolphins in the water! It was so cool!

Lovely day spent at Cocoa Beach.

Story/Tip

This is the first time we have stayed at this particular time-share. GORGEOUS!!! We rented a van and drove from our home in Massachusetts. It is a two-day drive (stayed overnight in Virginia). We loved the Hilton! It is within easy driving access to everything!

There were a lot of activities, but our favorite was sitting poolside. Our youngest daugther had fun in the pool. Not too shallow not too deep. The set up was great -- two pools within the same area. One with a middle fountain, the other with a waterfall.

A lovely jacuzzi was in the master bedroom. The water was a pretty blue. The soap had a relaxing citrus smell. It was perfect to relax in after a busy day! Plenty of closet space, enough glasses, silverware, etc. in the kitchen. Big screen tv, CD player, beautiful screened in porch.

Highlight was every night at 10pm we got to see the fireworks from Sea World from the sixth floor balcony! Great vacation!!!!!
