There is much more to see than Disney World when visiting central Florida.

I never wonder that there would be so much to do in Kissimmee without visiting Disney World. We have been to Kissimmee once before and we just went to the well known attractions. Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Sea World. But this trip we decide that we didn't want to goto to anything that had anything to do with Mickey Mouse. So went head to Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, and Medieval Times.

Quick Tips:

If you are going to visit Central Flordia there are many other thing to have fun. One tip on visiting the Space Center call ahead to find if there are any shuttle launchs scheduled during the time's that you are visiting. To see a launch would be a wonderful opportunity for those that do not live in or close to Flordia. The Space Center tour is a two day tour. You may be able to see everything if you arrive there very early. There are abot seven medeival times shows across the US but Kissimmee's is one if not the best of them all. If you would like a discount price purchase your tickets from your Resort this will save you about per person.

Best Way To Get Around:

Driving is by far the best way to see these other attractions that are not Disney World affilated. There are people that are stay in resorts that are with in walking distance of the attractions but if you drive you will be able to experience much more.
Best Things Nearby:
Wal-mart is just outside the gate. Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament.

Best Things About the Resort:
The room is the best thing about the resort very spacious. The gym and pool areas are fantastic.

Resort Experience:
It was wonderful. We didn't want to leave.

There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with two twins. The couch doubles as a bed as well. There are two TVs and two patios. The dining room was outfitted with a hardwood table and chairs.

This adventure is for the family that would like a little excitement in their vacation. You get to experience the thrills and excitement of life in the 11th century.

There is some sort of barbaric atmoshpere that is produced here. You eat your meal with your hands (silverware is not used here). The meal is served with the 11th-centuuy feel. The tournament is the best part of the evening. While enjoying your meal, you are cheering for your knight to win the tournament and the louder your section cheers, the better chance your knight has in winning the tournament.

This is a great place to experience with family and friends.
