Myrtle Beach Escape

There are so many things to do in Myrtle Beach and each year the list grows: Dixie Stampede, Medieval Times, Comedy Cabana, Dick's Last Resort, House of Blues . . . all fun!!! There are lots of places to shop . . . gift shops with beachy things, two outlet shopping complexes, one mall with another soon to open. The beaches are great with lots to do: jet skis, banana boats, ocean kayaks, body surfing, sunning, and bicycles on the beach. You can go fishing on the beach, piers, or from a party boat. Lots of fish were caught. There are scenic and adventure trips on boats on the intercoastal and ocean.

Quick Tips:

Use suntan lotion . . . the sun is great. Stores around the area have everything from groceries to bathing suits.

Best Way To Get Around:

I think renting a car is best. If you stay in Myrtle Beach, it is easy to walk.

Lots of attractions and outlet shopping.

Best Things About the Resort:
This resort is in North Myrtle Beach, which is a little quieter and family oriented, but close by all the attractions that Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand have to offer. The timeshare has many activities, two pools, three hot tubs and a gorgeous palm-lined beach. There is a new kids club and lots of activities for teenagers as well.

Resort Experience:
There are so many things to do in the area that you won't be able to do them all in a week. You can fish, swim, body surf, surf, play beach volleyball, ride jet skis, kayak, go on a banana boat, and bicycle all within a two minute walk on the beach. The resort is right on the ocean and is beautiful.

Great food at reasonable prices. Not only are the ribs terrific, but everyone in our party of nine enjoyed their meal from chicken and pasta to ribs. It is in Barefoot Landing, which is a fun, interesting group of shops and activities that you can spend the night walking through before or after eating.
