Hotel | "Sun Viking"

The Sun Viking is an expensive hotel, but it has spacious, clean rooms, and all the accommodations you need right on the property. Of course, it is oceanfront on the beautiful Daytona Beach, but there are indoor and outdoor pools, a 60-foot-long water slide, a beautiful spa just off the beach, a game room, restaurant, shopping, etc. Also, it is just a short walk or drive to the Daytona pier and shops and fun!

Best Things Nearby:
The resort is world class with all the amenities you could hope for on a 1100 acre location. All sports and several pool complexes offer fun for the entire family.

Best Things About the Resort:
The timeshare was the nicest, most inviting location we have ever exchanged for in our 15 years of timeshare vacationing.

Resort Experience:
The resort is clean, well appointed, spacious, with all services and amenities you could need for a week or several weeks. You could spend all your time at the resort with the Splash Lagoon water park and the many pools, spas, exercise rooms, game rooms, special activities, on-site lake with all water sports, nightly entertainment, food, and shopping right on the resort . . . but it is also just minutes away by car or by resort shuttle to Walt Disney World, Sea World, Medieval Times, Universal Studios, and all of Orlando's shopping, food, and fun!

Fun, fast, and a cool experience! The restaurant looks out over the lake and the surrounding Epcot area for a relaxing lunch or for a quick bite. Inside or outside dining available. Located just inside Epcot as you move from park to park, a great place to stop for a bite and a break!

This is a casual, cool place to stop for a meal on a hot day at Disney. It is off the river just beside Huck Finn's play place. You can sit out on the porch in rocking chairs and relax while you dine on good food. This is a great place to watch the Disney parade from just a short distance away and without getting into the crowds!

Restaurant

This is a fabulous experience! The meal price includes a wonderful, exhilarating show with live horses, live jousting, and the knights are gorgeous! They will pose for photos after the show. The food is served as in medieval times, so there are no utensils but you get a huge meal with several courses--soup, half a chicken, vegetables, bread, drinks, and dessert.

The service is excellent and the show is just breathtaking! My son was knighted for his birthday and he was recognized by the "king" during the show. He has photos with the king knighting him and was given the sword used as a souvenir. There are also lots of interesting displays and lots of cool merchandise for sale. This is a must see!

A cool place to eat. You can dine inside or out! The place looks like a rain forest and the sounds of the birds while you dine is relaxing and fun. This is the perfect place to sit, watch, and listen to the interactive fountain at the entrance of Walt Disney World!

A very interesting dining experience. The food is great and the variety is good too. In addition to the specialty items, good, plain old American food is available too. The desserts and specialty drinks are special treats. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and opens up into a lovely and interesting historic type shopping area.

Walt Disney World Resort: Magic KingdomBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Disney's Magic Kingdom"

There are so many rides, shows, events, displays, shopping, and dining experiences that you cannot possibly see and do everything you want to in a day or two at Disney. The rides are new and improved. The shows are spectacular. The park is beautiful and exciting in every area. There are things for young and old, male and female, adult/child, and people with all tastes and interests to enjoy. Plan to spend as much time as possible. Plan ahead to see the most important things and be sure to get to the rides and shows you don't want to miss! It truly is "magic" and well worth a trip. The Fast Pass is a good idea if you don't want to wait in lines. You can get a Fast Pass and then go into a nearby shop or sit down for a meal in a nearby restaurant and then enter the show or ride quickly with no waiting at your appointed time.

While you're in the Walt Disney or Daytona area, don't miss the opportunity to see a wonderful piece of history and opportunity in the making at the Kennedy Space Center. Many exhibits, shows, rides and experiences will take you back in history, entertain you, and plummet you into the future.

This is a grand opportunity for school age children to learn about NASA, space missions, and educational programs on space exploration through a variety of inspirational programs. The Rocket Garden exhibits historic rockets that tell the story of man's quest for the star. There are interactive learning experiences and monuments and memorials. There is a children's play zone and a full scale shuttle explorer to walk through an orbiter replica. You can touch a real Mars rock and experience the future of space travel. Astronauts appear daily and you will have the opportunity to come face to face with a real astronaut who has actually flown in space. Lots of cool dining and fun opportunities.

Attraction | "Sea World"

A Journey to Atlantis
We found Sea World to be one of our most exciting and fun experiences. It was a great adventure. We petted and fed all kinds of sea creatures including walrus, seals, dolphins, sting rays, etc. The shows were exciting and, at the same time, hilariously fun! We got a first-hand glimpse of all kinds of sharks and fish and sea creatures. Jellyfish are amazing creatures. We encountered birds and other wildlife that we had never seen before. We were astounded by the training and tricks that these amazing animals display. We witnessed some amazing feats as the professionals of Sea World introduced us to the animals they work with everyday. It was an incredible opportunity to learn for us all.
