July 4th Get Away

A July 2003 trip to Fort Bragg by coolrosie

Quote: Plenty to do. Fishing, Glass Beach, shopping, and sightseeing. We go every year for this week. You must take the Skunk Train Try out some of the great restaurants in the area and also the coffee house in town for the local feel of the area. Great place to visit.

Best Things Nearby:Main road to town. Able to get to shopping and beach without much problems. Shopping nearby.Best Things About the Resort:I was able to get a campsite. They had hookups and would put people in overflow area for late comers.Resort Experience:Camp ground was clean. Rest rooms needed some more work -- we were told that they had been remodeled. Problems with permanent living RVs. Pit bulls in the park and one got loose and ran around the camp ground. Lots of dogs not on leashes and you had to watch small children because of the pit bull. One car was hit by a pick-up truck because of tight roads in park. Park was handy on main road to town....Read More
