This was our chance for a honeymoon! We had a wonderful time shopping, seeing sights and shows, and beautiful accommodations!

We LOVED the factory outlet shopping, my husband is a NASCAR fan and we found some great merchandise at excellent prices. There were so many things to do, there was never a dull moment!

Quick Tips:

Keep in mind that MANY resturants close early in Branson . . . some as early as 8pm! If there is somewhere special you want to eat, call to find out the hours, so you are not disappointed!

Best Way To Get Around:

The "strip" is bumper to bumper, so get a city map at a gas station, NOT one of the freebie "tourist" maps! You can combine the city map and the tourist map to find side streets to get you where you need to be without taking hours to do it!

Best Things Nearby:
One air-conditioned craft mall very close, plus a couple open-air craft malls nearby. Close to dining and the "alternate" route off the strip.

Best Things About the Resort:
Wonderful staff, great accommodations, lots of activities.

Resort Experience:
We were in the building farthest from the pool. Our unit had a fireplace, but no balcony. The kitchen was well equipped, which was nice when we wanted to have meals "at home" and relax from a day of other activities. The washer and dryer made it much nicer to pack for departure and it was nice to have a TV in the bedroom as well as in the living room. Very quiet, even with a family of four in the next unit. Parking was less than adequate, but renovations are being made to fix that problem.

  • Unit Type: 1 Bedroom
  • Activities: Excellent
  • Amenities: Excellent
  • Unit Satisfaction: Excellent
  • Family Friendliness: Excellent
  • Service: Excellent

FANTASTIC! A wonderful show and finger-licking good (LITERALLY) food . . . you WON'T leave hungry! It's all finger foods and definitely not for the "prissy" eater, but it's great. For the price, you get dinner and a show that appeals to all ages, and the service is exceptional.

Hilarious comedian and breathtaking Russian dancers entertain while you enjoy a wonderful meal. Beverage selection is lacking -- adults are served coffee, tea, or water; children get lemonade, but adults are charged extra for that option. The dessert was nothing to brag about -- the baked Alaska seemed somewhat freezer burned.

YUMMMM! Juicy tender steaks cooked exactly the way you order, tasty ribs that are NOT swamped in barbeque sauce, the BEST mozzarella sticks in the WORLD, and an unusual (and TASTY) "onion loaf" . . . this place has something for everyone from kids to adults.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere made for an enjoyable dining experience.

The rides are scattered out, so there is a lot of walking to be expected, but plenty to see in between. If you are interested in the history behind some crafts, this is the place for you . . . there are all kinds of demonstrations as well as places to buy the finished products.

This water park is GREAT! My husband would not care if he EVER went swimming, but he wants to go back again. You don't need to know how to swim to have a good time. You can float in the lazy river, ride the slides, or some of the larger water rides. Grandparents could bring the little ones to the big kiddie area, teens could go from one exciting slide to another, and couples could enjoy floating together on the lazy river. There is something for everyone here.

Tanger Outlet CenterBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Tanger Factory Outlet Mall"

A shopper's dream! The VF Factory Outlet had more NASCAR shirts than the trailers at the racetrack, and there was a Tools 4 Less and a Fan Shop, so my husband even loved shopping! Disney, Ralph Lauren, Bible Factory Outlet, Onieda, and so many more. I could spend a couple DAYS there alone!

Celebration City
The rides are pretty mellow for the most part, little ones will enjoy the majority of them. There is a HUGE wooden roller coaster that's only for the brave and there are a couple more exciting rides, but most are definitely fine for the younger set. This park is only open in late afternoon and evening, so it's perfect for following up a showboat cruise or a day of golf or shopping. In my opinion, it's more for families with young kids . . . as adults, we were not overly excited.
