A March 2002 trip

Hotel | "Sunterra Polynesian Isles"
The units are beautiful and very spacious. There are two styles of two-bedroom units. I prefer the Stage 1 units. They are larger, but less modern than Stage 2 units. I also prefer the first floor because I enjoy the ground floor screened patio at night.
The staff is very helpful and accommodating, especially maintenance and the Activities Director. My daughter spent nearly as much time with the Activities Director as with me. She met other kids that regularly participated in activities and had friends for the week. She keeps in contact with one of those friends she made still. This is a beautiful resort, very family friendly and relaxing.

The food is good but somewhat pricey. The experience is so interesting that you forget about the price. While dining you will see and hear rainforest animals and may get caught in a rainforest storm. Bring a jacket. It's very cool in the rainforest.
