Best Things Nearby:Downtown Cabo San Lucas.Best Things About the Resort:VIEW VIEW VIEW. BEAUTIFUL DESIGN.Resort Experience:Sunset Beach is located on the western shore of Baja, only minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. When we first came over the entry drive that crests above the resort, we were awestruck by the view. The resort is laid out so that ALL units have an ocean front view of the Pacific Ocean. We were also pleased that the Pacific side of the peninsula is about 10 degrees cooler than Cabo San Lucas and other eastern locations. The property was under construction when we bought our timeshare, so we have yet to see it in its full glory, but we can ha...Read More

Best Things Nearby:Best Things About the Resort:Resort Experience:This was one of the WORST experiences we've ever had at a resort destination. The service was poor except when the staff was "letting us relax" while they prepared our room, which was in reality a tactic to give us the first of many timeshare pitches. The walkway to and from our room was a LONG ramp that had to be navigated uphill every time you wanted to leave the resort. Our first room had a leaky toilet requiring that we be moved. When we were moved to the second room, our ocean view was partially blocked by a wall. We requested to be moved again, but were told the resort was ...Read More

We lucked out because Edith's closed for the season the day after we dined there on our first night in Cabo.

We ate on the patio with a partial view of the ocean. Service was exceptional and the food divine. Mexican food is one of our favorites and we enjoyed flavors we've never experienced before.

Edith's will be a regular stop whenever we go to our timeshare at Pueblo Bontio Sunset Beach.

WOW! An incredible orgy of flavors. Everything we samples excited our taste buds . . . from sublime to over the top hot. Eclectic decor and a boisterous crowd made for a FUN evening. This spot goes on our "Must Return" list.

Sit at a beach table with your toes in the sand. The sea bass fish tacos were excellent. Two for one Coronas come in an ice-filled bucket.

The view can't be beat, and the beach vendors are not allowed into the restaurant unless you invite them in (watch out for the timeshare reps that do work the premises however). In all, a fun afternoon.

Food was very good and the service excellent (attentive without being pushy). We both enjoyed fresh local seafood.

One of the nice things is that you can leave your table to walk the patios along the ocean front for a better view of the cove and sunset, then return to relish your next course or dessert. Fountains splashing in the background add to the relaxing atmosphere. We also had fun feeding the cats and kittens that roam the rocks just outside the dining area . . . they relished the fresh fish as much as we did.

A nice romantic spot to spend a few hours with your special someone. Beautiful views of the sunset over Cabo!
