A June 2003 trip to Carlsbad by roxdog

Overview
One of my fondest memories was having coffee in the morning on the terrace overlooking the ocean. This was very relaxing for me. Also getting up at 6am one morning and walking down to the beach and collecting shells with my daughter. We also made sand castles together. I don't think I have played in the sand for over 25 years. We had a great time, there are way too many thing for me to mention. I would recomend this trip to all because it had as much to do or not to do as you will ever need.
Hotel
The units are very will keeped and stocked very nice. The flowers and the grounds are well manicured. The service of the staff was exceptional. I loved it and so did the rest of my family.Resort Experience:Heaven!!! I would get up in the morning and enjoy my coffee on the terrace overlooking the ocean. There are so many activities put on by the staff to keep you and the kids very busy if you want to be, or you can just relax. We did both. The activities are reasonably priced, many of them free. Have fun!!!!
