The diving was great. Went on the S. S. Minnow out of Riviera Beach. Many turtles and schools of fish. Water temp 84F. Orlando was fun. Had no rain until the day before we left. Quick Tips: Being on the Indian River there is a lot to do, at least if you like the water. Jet skis were the most fun. Also had boating and fishing. Large number of fish species in this area. License required. Capt. Hiram's is quite the place to hang out. Good food and beverage. Entertainment each night. Oyster Pointe and Oyster Bay Resort

Oyster Bay is in a quaint location on the Indian River. It is definitely not a five-star place, but it is very comfortable and peaceful. The pool is nice and clean. The overall resort is clean, which is something for this part of Florida. No laundry in the units, but there is a laundry onsite. Plenty of stores shopping nearby and places to eat close also. All of the units are furnished adequately. All have central air-conditioning.

Overall a very nice place to stay. It's about an hour and a half from Orlando, one hour from Palm Beach, and one hour from Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Center.

Universal's Islands of Adventure

Attraction | "Island of Adventure / Universal City Walk"

Islands of Adventure is a great time. Areas for all ages. From the HULK rollercoaster to the Dr. Seuss area to Jurassic Park to Spiderman. A full day. Be sure to acquire speed tickets a the rides to reduce time in line. This is possible and it makes you budget you time. Worth the time to figure it out. City Walk right outside Islands. Much to do here. Make it for the end of the day so you can enjoy the amusement park. Many places to eat and have fun, or you can just walk around and window shop.

$60 for two dive trip one to two miles off the Palm Beach coast in 60 feet of water. 70 feet plus visability. The water temperature is 84F. Lots of wildlife such as turtles, rays, barracuda, and lots of schooling fish. It's a very relaxing drift dive with a great crew. Monday - Friday there's one trip a day that leaves at 9:30am. Saturday and Sunday there are two trips at 9am and 2pm. Night dives are available also.
