There are many wonderful restaurants, and you will never run out of options of where to eat. You can make reservations online to many of them. We took a tour of the Island and went on a submarine ride...I will never forget that! That beautiful turquoise water... ahh paradiseQuick Tips: Since eating can be expensive, we usually made our own light breakfast in our room and saved that way. Many of the things we have here in the U.S. you can purchase at the supermarket there. Many internet kiosks on the island and in hotels and timeshares sell minutes online. That made it easy to contact home without running up a large phone bill. This is a really relaxing island, so if you're looking to p...Read More

Our room was a one-bedroom/one-bathroom unit with full kitchen. It was very comfortable and roomy with a great view of the ocean. It had all the comforts of home! Our room was cleaned daily except for Sunday and that was just a linen exchange. The room had a blender and an iron and ironing board, but no hair dryer. Very comfortable! All rooms open up to a great view.

The staff was always friendly and very helpful.

Best Things Nearby:Many great restaurants, Aruba is known for dining choices. There are 11 casinos on the island and we hit every one of them. The Alhambra is right across the street from our timeshare. Two large supermarkets are nearby as well as the Alhambra mall. . . great souviner shopping and a phone kiosk to call anywhere. There's also a subway across the street. Best Things About the Resort:It was very close to the beach, we just walked out our door. Not like the high rise area where you have to walk through a lobby past the pools then 200 yards to the beach. I really loved this place.Resort Experience:This is a great family timeshare. It shares its ...Read More

There are so many great places to eat on Aruba. We ate at Aqua Grill (new and great), French Steakhouse, Madame Jannette's, Chalet Suisse, and Pirates Nest. We made reservations in advance online for some of them. Best one we liked was Chalet Suisse. Since the island is small you can take a cab. These restaurants are worth every penny.

To sum it up!, I loved Aruba - if you like to snorkel, this is your dream. The island is very arid, taking on a southwest US atmosphere. The contrast of the beautiful Caribbean waters and the desert landscape is incredible. Local boat rentals and snorkeling trips are available. You can depart at different times of the day, and most of them include your meals. For the romantics out there, they have sunset cruises, which include dinner and music. This is a must-do and so worth it. We went on a submarine through Atlantis Tours, they leave at various times of the day. We saw beautiful schools of fish, the reef and coral - I highly recommend this adventure. Aruba also has many natural wonders to ex...Read More
