Viva Las Vegas

A June 2003 trip to Las Vegas by sammoen

Quote: We stayed at the Aladdin. The room was great. We spent hours in the oversized soaking bath. Another highlight was a day in the spa at the Aladdin. The Aladdin also had the best buffet. I would recommend the $3 minimum table at the boardwalk hotel (next to NY, NY).

The rooms were average. You could swim in the bath tub. The spa was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit. We had a couples massage, Jacuzzi and steam. The shopping was ok. The casino tables were a bit stuffy. We didn't check out the clubs.

This was the best buffet in town. Compared to other buffets, the choices were fewer, but the quality was outstanding. I recommend going early to avoid lines.

We got half price tickets on the day of the show at the half price ticket center in the big Coke bottle across from NY, NY. They sell 1/2 off same day tickets to many shows. They open at 2pm.

The show was a classic, a must see for first time Vegas goers. They go through the different decades of Vegas show girls. Stick around for pictures with the stars afterwards.
