The resort sits on the banks of the Peace River with some of the apartments looking out over the harbour towards Punta Gorda and others facing the pool. The whole complex is well maintained and the staff are most helpful. The resort is ideally situated for touring the area, being only short drive from the beautiful island of Boca Grande. To the north are Sarasota and Venice, a lovely old town to walk around and hunt for sharks teeth on the beach. To the south is the family resort of Fort Myers Beach and the tropical islands of Sanibel and Captiva. A must is a visit to the Babcock Ranch just a short drive inland.
