Best Things Nearby:Great Bay's beach was very nice. Not overly crowded and there was some snorkeling spots off this beach. Best Things About the Resort:Smaller, more intimate building size. The people were very accommodating and helpful in planning our week's activities.Resort Experience:This place is not brand new, however is well maintained and clean. The suites were large enough, however the second bedroom is smaller that we expected (if we had been traveling with family members). The kitchen area was great as it overlooks straight out to the ocean/beach. There were two television sets, although we did not use them. Every room faced out to the beach so it ...Read More

This was by far the best restaurant that we experienced during our stay on the Dutch side of the island. We took a boat tour and a restaurant owner of 10 years in the US and his wife highly recommended this place. They were planning on returning for a second dinner during their week. The atmosphere was picturesque over the marina and the service here was very good. Our boat-mates HIGHLY recommended the red snapper (he was returning for a second dinner of this as well) so my wife had the snapper, which turned out to be out of this world. I had a salmon baked in a pastry puff which also was awesome. I would consider this a must-do restaurant, and we probably will return...Read More

This was the first restaurant we visited for dinner recommended by our hotel staff. I had the grilled lobster, which was very good. We had not heard or read about this place, but were pleasantly surprised.

The sunset was beautiful, overlooking the Great Bay area. The atmosphere at the restaurant was relaxing. The service was good and our waitress was very attentive.

This restaurant was somewhat overrated in our opinion from previous travel journals. The atmosphere however was Caribbean and very casual. It was fairly family friendly if you are traveling with children.

We were not overly impressed with the food. There were many other restaurants we found throughout the week that were much more notable for their cuisine. The night that we were there we arrived relatively early (5:30ish) and our service was not very attentive.

For the snorkeler this is an awesome three-stop extravaganza. The first stop was off Anguila, then to Sandy Point, and then Prickly Pear on the return. This is a fast boat ride on a speed boat due to reaching all three snorkeling spots. We had an hour at each spot plus a barbecue lunch on a Gilligan's Island location that was the highlight of this boat trip.

For the money this was a great value for a day's entertainment.
