Fun-filled week in Branson

A May 2003 trip to Branson by LA from Benton

Quote: We spent a fantastic week in Branson, Missouri, at the wonderful French Quarter Resort. Location was GREAT! The facilities and amenities were super, and there is SO much to do and see in Branson. Shopping, dining, two lakes, and amazing entertainment kept us busy all week.

Top of the Rock Restaurant

Restaurant | "Top of the Rock"

Quote:
Top of the Rock is one of our favorite places to dine in Branson. The view of Tablerock Lake is spectacular, and the food is delicious. Try their famous Wood-Roasted Chicken...YUM! The Crab Cakes are also our favorites, and they serve delicious bread with a special dipping sauce.

Landry's Seafood House

Restaurant | "Landry's Seafood"

Quote:
We usually visit Landry's at least twice while vacationing in Branson. Their seafood is always fresh and outstanding. Our favorite appetizer is "Oyster Bar Trash", which is fresh shrimp and jumbo lump crab meat in a blackened sauce.

The Starlite Theatre

Attraction | ""Lost in the 50's""

Quote:
Lost in the 50s was a great show. Action-packed and high-energy, with a multi-talented group of young people. The theater was quite comfortable, and there is a nice gift shop and snack bar. We enjoyed every minute and plan to go again.

Shoji Tabuchi Theatre

Attraction | "Shoji Tabuchi, King of Branson"

Quote:
Shoji's performance is amazing. He is not just another Branson "fiddle-player". The costumes, lights, music and talent are wonderful. The theatre restrooms are the talk of the town. The men's room has a pool table, and the ladies' room is quite ornate, and has fresh orchids. This was our second time to see his show, and we will see it again!
