Be sure to bring your jogging or walking shoes. The Sandestin Resort is an excellent place to get your exercise.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

It is quicker to take the new mid-bay bridge to get from I-10 to Sandestin.
Best Things Nearby:
Baytowne Wharf Village, white sand beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
Clean, well-maintained facility. Convenient to all area attractions. Our unit was bayside and we had a wonderful view of the water.

Resort Experience:
Sandestin is still a premium resort after being in business for more than 20 years. There are plenty of golf opportunities that I will use on my next visit. The free shuttle service will deliver you to any location at the resort in a matter of minutes. Bay Club of Sandestin has very nice rooms that have been recently upgraded. The one-bedroom unit had a queen-size bed and the full bath had a whirlpool tub. The couch made into a queen-size bed but bring an inflatable queen mattress or rent one from the club for a more comfortable night. The kitchen is fully outfitted. There are several group activities planned each day of the week. It's an excellent opportunity to meet other guests.

Enjoyed lunch here at the restaurant. Found out that the trigger fish (fudpucker) is seasonal and not usually available during the first week in May.

Wonderful open air beach-side dining. Enjoy the beach breezes and the sound of gulf waves while savoring a great meal. The old-fashioned palm frond fans are another added feature that adds to the experience. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood items and the food was delicious. The service was great.

This is a local Destin favorite. During the lunch hour you had better get to the restaurant by 11:15am or you'll probably have to wait for a table. The menu offered many seafood favorites and the portions were very generous. The prices were very reasonable.

This restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The menu offered plenty of unique seafood entres, but there were other items for those wanting something different. Our waitress was very nice and the staff catered to our every need.

We arrived at the restaurant a bit early at 6pm, and had no problem obtaining a table without a reservation. We learned that the live entertainment starts at around 7:30pm, and it is often difficult to get a table without reservations.
