Beach Week

A June 2002 trip to Myrtle Beach by CALJML

Yachtsman has the perfect location. Right on beach, close to restaurants, shopping, and pavillion. So much to do just wish I had a longer visit. Enjoy returning each time.

Overview

Long walks on the beach at sunrise and sunset. Competing with family members for best player at the different putt-putt places. Riding the rides at the pavilion.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking is best to get around if you are going to the pavilion and restaurants nearby. If going to Broadway at the Beach, definitely drive, but it's very close.

Restaurant

Gulf Stream Cafe has great seafood. Outdoor dining available. Has a great variety of dinners to choose from. I definitely recommend crabcakes. Would recommend to everyone and worth the drive.

Restaurant | "Dick's Last Resort"

Fun place to go for lunch or dinner. A unusual place -- everyone's expected to wear a funny hat and you try to guess what yours has on it. Expect to have jokes and attention drawn to you. Food is good with a large variety. A place to relax and have fun.
