Orlando Again

Overview

Of course Orlando is the home of Mickey and Minnie but there are tons of other things to do and see like Magic Shows, outlets, and checking out an Orlando Magic game.

Quick Tips:

Quick tip is to buy your attraction tickets in advance. It saved us a ton of money and time in the long run. Another tip is to go the same week we did - the first week of December. The crowds were very small and the weather was just perfect.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to get around is to rent a car. Of course we visited all the parks and since we were about three to five miles away the car was the best option for transit.

Sheraton Vistana Resort

Best Things Nearby:
Perfect location for all attractions. We were never further than 10 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go.

Best Things About the Resort:
The best thing about this time share was the location and the newer section of the resort was much better than the older section.

Resort Experience:
Overall the resort was nice. We unfortunately had a little hiccup at the beginning of our stay. We were placed in the older section of the resort which looks nothing like the pictures. So just beware and ask before you arrive if you are going to be staying in the newer section. After we spoke to management we were moved to a better accommodations.

The tennis courts were great though the game room was cramped and hot and the resort was so big there was little to no interaction with staff.

Fulton's Crab House

Our meal was great. It was well worth the wait. Reservations are recommended. It is a high-energy, traditional seafood house built as a replica of a turn-of-the-century riverboat . . . right in heart of downtown Disney. It is a great finish to a night out after Cirque Du Soleil.

They have the best grilled chicken sandwich. If you like a full-service motor sports themed restaurant packed with racing memorabilia from all forms of motor sports, this is the place for you. We have gone back every time we visited Orlando.

We were spoiled so how we got cut in line tickets frome some internet club I am part of and were were able to cut in line and get seated rather quickly. Plus we were in a secluded little room that made us feel oh so special. The drinks were the part of the meal. The food was marginal. The atomsphere was electric.

Cirque du Soleil

Attraction | "Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba"

This show was fantastic. It is a must see but you should get your tickets in advance. I am now hooked on all the Cirque Du Soleil performances.

La Nouba features two groups of characters. Throughout the show, the magic and fantasy of the colourful Cirques (circus people) clash with the monochromatic world of the Urbains (urbanites). But as in fables, it is not so much this contrast as the interplay between the two groups which sparks our curiosity and feeds our imagination.
