We decided to take a trip to Myrtle beach with our four children during spring break 2003 -- and believe it or not, it was a wonderful experience!

Hotel | "Sheraton's Broadway Plantation"

Spacious luxurious room with full kitchen. All rooms face a small lake and it is really nice to sit on your screened-in porch and watch the fountain in the middle of the lake or walk down to the lake to feed the ducks.

Kids enjoyed the Kids' Club, which offered lots of activities throughout the week.

Wonderful pools, hot tubs, tennis, basketball - anything you need right there. Would definitely recommend.

Planet Hollywood was not a very good experience. The food was too expensive and was not very good either. And the service was really horrible. I would say that if you have children - don't go!

Attraction | "On the Beach"

Beautiful clean beach with lots of sea shells for the kids to pack up and take home. Horseback riding on the beach during the off-season -- lots of fun.

Attraction

Wonderful for kids and adults. My husband loved watching the employees wrestle the alligators, and the kids enjoyed the shows about snakes and the gators. It was a perfect day and well worth the cost!
