Public buses were okay for local travel!

Beachfront 50' from crystal clear blue ocean, across powder white sand. Room overlooked the pool w/swim-up bar, which overlooked the ocean. Resort was older than expected, but well kept. The staff was top notch! Restaurants overlooked pool and beach as well!

Woke up to sunrises every morning above the ocean. Breathtaking! Housekeeping staff deserves a salute for cleaniness! Their towel art was amazing -- little swans, elephants, and dogs (a.k.a. donkeys)! Small issues with shower/hot tub/bath tub, which maintenance was quick to fix. No problemo!

Mexican and Mayan shows were superb! Staff was extremely friendly! Food was average, but plentiful. Unfortunatly the pool side bar closed at 5pm, leaving two hours of good daylight to sit at the pool unrefreshed. Then it was inside to listen to the same band, play the same songs, almost nightly, too loudly!
